Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Ask questions don't be shy and certainly don't feel intimidated. Any decent company in my
industry shouldn't have any issue about taking a few minutes to answer any questions you
may have. If they do take offense, find another company to deal with.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Are you licensed with the state? How long have you been in business? Do you have a website
and does it have a feedback page? Spending a few minutes asking the right questions can
save you a possible headache later and maybe even some money in the long run.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Every day is different. Some days you'll be bored senseless and others it's just nonstop calls,
dealing with people in all kinds of situations with different needs and different perceptions of
the business.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much? That's it. This isn't fast food where everything has a set price. Not every call is
the same. C'mon folks help me help you. Offer some information like where is the car, where
do you want to take it and is there a special need to move the vehicle. Is it AWD,4 x 4,damaged
from a collision or just mechanically broke down.
Q. What are your most common types of jobs?
A. Break downs and accidents. You can imagine most folks aren't in the best of moods in
either situation.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in
your field?
A. The state requires a 4 hour CE course each year before they will renew your license. The
state license is the basis of every other license you may get locally with the city or county
you may deal with.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the
details here.
A. Not complicated at all actually just common sense for the most part. Where are you at?
Where do you want to go and what kind of vehicle are you moving?
